I would agree with the previous review that it is a nice rural location, and is probably the best accommodation in the area as it is modern transformation of older property. Food is simple but that is acceptable considering its location. …

Fantastic Location in the Mountains, Lovely Rooms and Hotel very well designed with nice decor. The staff were great and spoke English, they even had a English menu! Loved everything about it.

We had a one night stay at Verdiago Viva. The drive in was a bit tight, but once we arrived we had everything we needed right there. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, and the room was spotless. I would let you know to go to the Bar when you arrive for registration (I knocked on the laundry room door) but it was not a problem, they happily directed me. All in all, a lovely stay.

I stayed at Rocio's for the entire month of July 2020 and extended the stay for a further week. The accommodation is perfect (I was straying on my own in the cottage for two, but there are options for more numerous groups, too). Everything is newly refurbished, with tasteful finishings, fully equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need and the breakfast provided is fantastic. The region is perfect for active holiday (excellent hiking, cycling and watersports options in the area). Fast internet if you need to work (which I did). Rocio and her family are the nicest people. I would 100% recommend Verdiago Vive and will stay again. Thank you for everything!

An amazing place to stay. We spent a month here and absolutely loved it - refugio 1 was comfortable and clean, the outdoor space is perfect, and the pool is fantastic in summer. From Verdiago, you can explore all around the mountains or just relax. Rocio and her family are warm and welcoming and help make sure that you have a great experience in Verdiago. Verdiago Vive is a 10/10, 100% recomendable, and we would love to return in the future.
